As a wholesaler, Gottfred Petersen depends on international suppliers, with Denmark often representing a relatively small market. While this may limit our direct leverage, we are committed to proactive and responsible supplier management.

All suppliers and their sub-suppliers are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, as well as all applicable national and international laws, regulations, and human rights standards.

We actively promote a constructive and forward-looking dialogue on environmental and climate-related matters, with the aim of driving continuous improvement. Suppliers who are unwilling to engage in a meaningful and solution-oriented dialogue may be reconsidered in favor of partners who demonstrate a stronger alignment between commercial performance and sustainability commitments.
